PM Modi Criticizes Opposition: “Power Is Not a Birthright”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a sharp attack on the opposition, accusing them of treating power as their “birthright” and misleading people to achieve political gains. Speaking at a gathering of BJP workers in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, PM Modi asserted that the opposition’s sole objective is to “somehow capture power by misleading people.”

He emphasized that his government is dedicated to public service and development, contrasting it with what he called the opposition’s “self-serving politics.” PM Modi also urged party workers to continue focusing on the BJP’s vision for the nation’s progress, despite distractions from political rivals.

The Prime Minister’s remarks come amidst heightened political activity as parties prepare for upcoming elections in several states. The BJP is striving to solidify its presence in Odisha, a state where it has been working to expand its influence.
