Prime Minister Narendra Modi was honored with Kuwait’s highest national award, the Order of Mubarak Al-Kabeer, in a prestigious ceremony held at Bayan Palace, Kuwait City. The award was presented by His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Amir of Kuwait, in the presence of Kuwait’s Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmed Al-Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah .
The Order of Mubarak Al-Kabeer is Kuwait’s highest civilian honor, bestowed upon heads of state and foreign dignitaries for their exceptional contributions to strengthening bilateral relations.
In his acceptance speech, Prime Minister Modi dedicated the award to the enduring friendship between India and Kuwait, highlighting the significant contributions of the Indian diaspora in Kuwait and the support of 1.4 billion Indian citizens.
This honor marks Prime Minister Modi’s 20th international accolade, symbolizing his global recognition and the continued strengthening of India’s diplomatic influence worldwide.
