New Delhi, September 30, 2025: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has extended strong support to U.S. President Donald Trump’s newly unveiled peace initiative for the Gaza conflict, hailing it as a “viable pathway” to sustainable peace, security, and development in West Asia.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), PM Modi wrote: “We welcome President Donald J. Trump’s announcement of a comprehensive plan to end the Gaza conflict. It provides a viable pathway to long-term and sustainable peace, security, and development for the Palestinian and Israeli people, as well as for the larger West Asian region. We hope that all concerned will come together behind President Trump’s initiative and support this effort to end conflict and secure peace.”
The Prime Minister underlined that the plan holds the potential for a durable resolution, urging all stakeholders to unite in support of the initiative to finally end hostilities.
