In his address, PM Modi emphasized that India’s innovation ecosystem is witnessing remarkable growth, driven by the contributions of dynamic sectors like technology, startups, and scientific research. He attributed this success to initiatives such as “Make in India” and “Startup India,” which have been pivotal in creating a thriving environment for innovation.
The Global Innovation Index, published annually by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), evaluates the innovation capacity of nations worldwide. India’s jump to 39th place underscores its growing prominence in global research and development, showcasing its commitment to building a knowledge-based economy.
