Padmaja Venugopal, the NDA candidate from Thrissur, has reiterated her commitment to the BJP, stating she is satisfied with her current political position and sees no reason to return to the Congress.
She said she is content with her role in the party and dismissed speculation about rejoining her former political camp. According to her, the shift to the BJP was a conscious decision and aligns with her present political outlook.
Padmaja, who earlier had a long association with the Congress, said her priorities have changed and she is now focused on her campaign in Thrissur.
The BJP candidate expressed confidence ahead of the elections, as political activity intensifies across Kerala.
