Air India has completed a precautionary re-inspection of fuel control switches across its Boeing 787 Dreamliner fleet, with no technical issues found, the airline confirmed. The checks were carried out following a request from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) after a recent aircraft-related incident.
The CAA, in a statement, clarified that seeking technical details in such cases is a routine regulatory process and forms part of standard safety assurance procedures. The authority emphasised that the request was not triggered by any immediate safety concern but was aimed at ensuring continued compliance with aviation safety norms.
Reaffirming its commitment to passenger safety, Air India stated that all Dreamliner aircraft remain fully airworthy and safe for operations. The airline added that it continues to work closely with regulators to uphold the highest standards of safety and operational reliability.
