Kochi: A new chapter of urban renewal is set to unfold as Kerala Chief Minister inaugurates twin apartment complexes in Thuruthy Colony, offering modern homes to 394 families under the Rajiv Awas Yojana’s slum-free project.
While one complex has been developed by the Kochi Corporation, the other has been executed by Cochin Smart Mission Limited (CSML). The initiative promises not just housing, but dignity, safety, and better living conditions for families who once lived in slum settlements.
Officials hailed the project as a milestone in Kerala’s journey towards slum-free cities, in line with the broader goals of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and sustainable urban development.
