Narendra Modi held a virtual meeting with state chief ministers to review preparedness amid rising tensions in West Asia. The discussion comes as the situation in the region enters its fifth week, with concerns growing over the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz.
The meeting focused on ensuring uninterrupted supply of fuel and essential goods across the country. Modi urged chief ministers to cooperate with the Centre, recalling the coordination seen during the COVID period.
He assured that special measures will be taken to prevent any disruption in the supply of essential commodities.
