Minor Fire at Mumbai Airport Terminal One

Mumbai: A minor fire broke out at Terminal 1 of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport on Thursday evening, prompting a swift response from emergency teams. Officials confirmed that the situation was quickly brought under control and airport operations remained unaffected.

According to a spokesperson for the airport, the fire was reported around 6:10 pm and was caused by a short circuit. Emergency response teams acted immediately, containing the fire within minutes.

Authorities stated that there were no injuries or casualties in the incident. Flight operations, passenger movement, and other airport services continued without disruption.

Officials added that necessary safety checks were carried out following the incident, and the situation is now fully under control.
