Thiruvananthapuram: Mahatma Gandhi University (MG University) has made a remarkable achievement by securing the 4th position among Indian universities in the prestigious Times Higher Education Asia University Rankings 2025. Notably, it is the only university from Kerala to feature in the top 25 list across the nation.
In the overall Asia rankings, MG University claimed the 140th spot out of 353 universities representing 35 countries. The rankings were based on key performance indicators including research quality, teaching excellence, knowledge transfer, and international outlook.
Tsinghua University of China topped the Asian list. Continuing its strong performance on the global stage, MG University is also ranked in the 401–500 bracket in the Times Higher Education Global Rankings 2025.
