KSRTC to Launch Air-Conditioned Ashwamedha Buses for Commuters in Bengaluru’s 100-KM Radius

In an effort to enhance travel convenience, the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) is set to roll out air-conditioned (AC) versions of its popular Ashwamedha buses within a 100-km radius of Bengaluru. The new fleet will feature smaller, fully air-conditioned buses equipped with modern amenities such as comfortable seating, charging ports, and premium interior designs, ensuring a more comfortable and pleasant journey for short to medium-distance travelers.

These upgraded Ashwamedha buses are already known for their superior features, including enhanced legroom and essential safety measures like panic buttons. The launch of the AC versions is part of KSRTC’s broader initiative to modernize and expand its fleet, which will also include the introduction of electric buses. The new service is expected to provide commuters with a seamless and affordable travel experience
