Thiruvananthapuram – Kerala Education Minister V. Sivankutty announced that the SSLC (Class 10) examination results will be declared on May 9, and assured that Plus One (Class 11) admissions will be granted to all students who pass. Classes are set to begin on schedule.
A total of 4,27,021 students took the SSLC exams under the regular scheme across 2,964 centers in Kerala, 9 in Lakshadweep, and 7 in the Gulf region.
The Malappuram education district reported the highest participation, with 28,358 students, while Kuttanad in Alappuzha had the lowest, with just 1,893 students. PKMM HSS, Edarikkode (Tirurangadi) emerged as the school with the most examinees.
In the Gulf region, 682 students appeared for the exam, and 447 students took it in Lakshadweep. An additional 8 candidates appeared under the Old Scheme (PCO).
Among the candidates, 2,17,696 were boys and 2,09,325 were girls. Of the total students, 1,42,298 were from government schools, 2,55,092 from aided schools, and 29,631 from unaided institutions.
The minister reaffirmed the state’s commitment to ensuring every successful candidate gets a fair chance to continue their education without delay.
