Thiruvananthapuram: The stage is set for the next big step in Kerala’s local governance polls as the State Election Commission (SEC) prepares to release the final voter list today (October 25). The list follows the verification of the revised draft roll published on September 29.
According to the draft, Kerala has a massive 2.83 crore registered voters, with over seven lakh new and updated entries added during the revision process — a sign of high public engagement ahead of the polls.
With the publication of the final list, the official election notification is expected to follow soon, paving the way for the local body elections that will shape the next phase of grassroots democracy in Kerala.
