Kerala Set to Ink Realistic MoUs at Global Summit, Aims for Sustainable Growth

Kerala’s Industries Minister, P. Rajeeve, has reaffirmed the state’s dedication to signing realistic Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with investors, focusing on feasible proposals aligned with the state’s new industrial policy. Speaking ahead of the Invest Kerala Global Summit, set to take place on February 21-22, 2025, in Kochi, Rajeeve emphasized the summit’s focus on sustainable development sectors. With over 2,000 delegates expected, the summit will prioritize investments that are both realistic and aligned with Kerala’s long-term goals.

At the World Economic Forum in Davos, Rajeeve also showcased Kerala’s growing reputation as a business-friendly destination, holding over 30 one-on-one meetings to discuss investment opportunities.

Under his leadership, Kerala has secured the top spot in ease of doing business rankings in India. The state has implemented significant reforms and launched a new industrial policy emphasizing knowledge-based industries. Kerala’s Year of Enterprises initiative has already helped establish over 290,000 MSMEs, further bolstering its industrial ecosystem.

Rajeeve’s proactive and sustainable approach to industrialization reflects Kerala’s balance between fostering foreign investment and protecting the environment, positioning the state as a leader in responsible growth.
