Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala Public Service Commission (PSC) will now issue all appointment recommendations online starting July 1. Job aspirants can access their advice memos directly through their PSC profiles—eliminating delays and enhancing efficiency.
The new digital memos will feature secure QR codes for verification, and candidates will receive instant SMS alerts on their registered mobile numbers once the documents are available.
This shift aims to streamline the recruitment process and address widespread complaints over delays in receiving memos via post. Until now, PSC has relied on registered mail, often causing significant wait times for candidates.
While postal delivery to candidates will be discontinued, advice letters to government departments will still be sent via post, PSC clarified.
