Kerala Polls: Modi Accuses UDF, LDF of Failing People

Narendra Modi on Sunday launched a sharp attack on both the UDF and LDF during his election campaign in Kerala. Addressing supporters, he alleged that the two fronts, which have alternated in power, have “looted the people” of the state.

Modi also dismissed allegations of political “deals,” saying rival parties are making contradictory claims about BJP’s alliances. He said such accusations show that the BJP has emerged as a strong alternative in Kerala politics.

The Prime Minister arrived in Palakkad and landed at the Mercy College helipad before holding a roadshow at Kottamaithanam.

He is scheduled to travel to Thrissur later in the day for further campaign programmes.

Modi said that if an NDA government comes to power in Kerala, it will investigate the actions of previous governments. He also expressed confidence that the BJP-led NDA will form the government in the state.
