Kerala on High Alert as Temperatures Soar: IMD Warns of Heatwave Conditions

Thiruvananthapuram: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heat alert for Thursday and Friday, predicting a significant rise in temperatures across Kerala. Some regions may witness a 2 to 3°C spike above normal levels.

With scorching temperatures and high humidity, experts warn of heat-related illnesses such as dehydration, heat exhaustion, and sunstroke. The IMD has urged the public to take precautions, stay hydrated, and avoid prolonged exposure to the sun to prevent health risks.
