Health experts warn that prolonged exposure to high UV radiation can cause sunburn, skin diseases, and eye ailments. Residents are advised to avoid direct sunlight between 11 AM and 3 PM, wear protective clothing, and use sunscreen.

According to the UV Index Scale:
🔹 0-2 (Low – Green)
🔸 3-5 (Moderate – Yellow)
🔺 6-7 (High – Orange)
⚠️ 8-10 (Very High – Red)
🚨 11+ (Extreme – Violet)

With temperatures soaring, KSDMA stresses the importance of following these safety measures to protect public health during this period of intense UV radiation.
