The Kerala High Court has denied anticipatory bail to BJP leader PC George in a hate speech case, where he allegedly made inflammatory remarks against the Muslim community during a televised program.
Justice PV Kunhikrishnan, while rejecting George’s plea, observed that his statements could incite communal disharmony, reinforcing the court’s stance on strict action against hate speech.
The case stems from a complaint filed against George for his controversial remarks, which sparked widespread criticism and legal scrutiny. With the anticipatory bail denied, George may now face imminent arrest as authorities proceed with further legal action.
