Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala Cabinet has approved a revision in the salary and perks of the Public Service Commission (PSC) members. As per the new decision, the PSC Chairperson will now receive a salary and benefits equivalent to that of a District Judge on the Super Time Scale.
The revision aligns the compensation of PSC members with higher judicial standards, ensuring better parity and recognition of their responsibilities. This move is expected to enhance the status of the commission and attract experienced professionals to these key positions.
