Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala Cabinet has approved a salary hike for government lawyers across the state, according to a release from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO).
The decision is aimed at recognising the contribution of legal professionals engaged in representing the state in various courts. Details of the revised pay structure are expected to be issued soon.
In the same meeting, the Cabinet also sanctioned financial assistance for a patient undergoing treatment for Nipah virus infection, underscoring the government’s commitment to supporting those affected by the rare but deadly disease.
