Kochi: Total business turnover of the Kerala-based five private sector banks touched to Rs 8.15 trillion at the end of the second quarter of the financial year 2024-25 , the banking sources said.
They are : Federal Bank (FDL) Ltd, Aluva, The Southan Indian Bank (SIB), Thrissur, CSB Bank Limited , Thrissur, Dhanlaxmi Bank Ltd, Thrissur, and ESAF Small Finance, Thrissur.
FDL earned the business turnover of Rs 4,99,418.83 crore, showing an increase of 17.32 per cent, SIB Rs 1,90,165 CSB Bank Rs 58,711 crore and DLB Rs 25,650 crore with increses of 11 per cent, 23 per cent and 6.3 per cent growth respectively. ESAF Bank’s business turnover stood at Rs 40,829 crore with an increase of 17 per cent for the period under review, the sources added.
Bank’s total turnover was Rs 7.04 trillion for the corresponding period last year. These banks had shown a marked increase in advances and deposits touching to Rs 3.71 trillion recording an increase of 17.6 per cent.
The FDL has shown a rise of 19.45 per cent in advances and SIB 13.08 per cent. DLB gained 6.86 per cent . CSB bank and ESAF attained 20 and 21.3 per cent respectively for the period under review.
