Mumbai: Jio has announced that unlimited 5G users will now get free access to Google Gemini 3, the latest version of Google’s advanced AI model. Currently, Jio Unlimited 5G customers are eligible to receive this premium service free for 18 months as part of the updated Jio Gemini Pro Plan.
The company has introduced two major changes to the previous offer. Earlier, the plan was restricted to youth users, but it has now been expanded to all eligible Jio Unlimited 5G subscribers. Additionally, users will now get access to Gemini 3, Google’s newest and most powerful AI upgrade, launched on November 18.
Under the revised plan, all customers choosing Jio Unlimited 5G plans will receive the Gemini Pro package worth ₹35,100 completely free for 18 months, Jio confirmed.
Jio stated that the aim of the initiative is to “empower every Indian to explore the vast world of artificial intelligence.” The offer can be activated through the ‘Claim Now’ option on the MyJio app. Jio also confirmed that the offer will become active soon.
Reliance Industries Limited Chairman Mukesh Ambani, while announcing the Jio–Google partnership, said the goal is to bring unlimited, cutting-edge AI services to smartphone users across India. He expressed confidence that this collaboration will significantly boost AI adoption and contribute to the growth of millions of Indians.
Google, in its announcement, described Gemini 3 as its most advanced and capable AI model to date, with superior reasoning abilities compared to existing models. The company plans to integrate Gemini 3 across all its platforms, including Search, to enhance user experience worldwide.
