India-Pakistan Agree to Ceasefire Across All Fronts from 5 PM Today: DGMOs to Reconnect on May 12

India and Pakistan have agreed to halt all military actions — on land, in the air, and at sea — starting from 5:00 PM IST today. The announcement was made by Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, following a call between the Directors General of Military Operations (DGMOs) of both nations at 3:35 PM this afternoon.

This understanding marks a crucial step towards de-escalating tensions along the border. Both sides have already issued instructions to their forces to enforce the ceasefire.

As part of continued efforts to maintain peace, the DGMOs of India and Pakistan have scheduled another round of talks for May 12 at 12:00 PM. The move is being viewed as a hopeful sign of renewed commitment to stability and dialogue between the two nuclear-armed neighbors.
