President Donald Trump’s senior trade adviser Peter Navarro said that “India is coming to the table” as both nations push to resolve long-standing trade disputes.
Trump comments came on Monday as the US chief negotiator landed in Delhi for a day-long round of high-level talks, aimed at bridging gaps on tariffs, market access, and other trade barriers.
The fresh engagement is being viewed as a critical step toward a potential trade pact, which could mark a turning point in strengthening economic ties between Washington and New Delhi.
