Over the past decade, daily metro ridership has surged from 2.8 million in 2014 to over 10 million in 2024, reflecting a 2.5-fold growth. Simultaneously, the daily distance covered by metro services has increased dramatically from 86,000 kilometers to 275,000 kilometers.
