MUMBAI: Senior IAS officer Tukaram Mundhe was transferred by the Maharashtra government on Tuesday, marking his 24th posting in 21 years of service. Mundhe, known for his strict administrative style, has been moved from the Divyang Kalyan Department.
He will now serve as Secretary in the Disaster Management, Rehabilitation and Revenue and Forest Department at Mantralaya, Mumbai. Officials said several other IAS officers, including Ashwini Bhide, Vikas Chandra Rastogi and Lokesh Chandra, were also transferred.
