Thiruvananthapuram: Tension gripped the capital on Friday after Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple and Attukal Devi Temple received bomb threat emails warning of an evening explosion.
The alarming message, first spotted by Padmanabhaswamy Temple authorities, prompted immediate police inspections at both temples. However, no explosives or suspicious materials were found.
Police revealed the threats bear striking similarity to earlier hoax emails sent to high-security locations like the Secretariat, Raj Bhavan, and Vanchiyoor Court. Investigators believe a single culprit may be behind the chain of false alarms, but the source of the emails remains untraced.
