Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala’s weather warning has been revised once again, with the state bracing for widespread rainfall today. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert in ten districts, excluding only Thrissur, Palakkad, Kannur, and Kasaragod.
No alerts have been issued for Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday. However, a fresh yellow alert has been announced for Sunday in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, and Idukki, where isolated heavy showers are likely.
According to the IMD, heavy rainfall is defined as 64.5 mm to 115.5 mm of rain within a 24-hour period.
