Kochi: Gold prices in Kerala continue their record-breaking rally, with rates soaring to ₹81,040 per sovereign on Wednesday after a ₹160 jump in a single day. The price per gram now stands at ₹10,130, driven largely by the surge in international gold markets.
For perspective, on September 1, gold was priced at ₹77,640 per sovereign, marking a sharp rise within days. On Tuesday, prices had closed at ₹80,880, after briefly dipping in the morning before rebounding past the ₹10,000 mark per gram by afternoon.
