Gold prices have fallen again in the state, continuing the recent downward trend. The price of gold is now ₹13,380 per gram. The price of one sovereign stands at ₹1,07,040, making it one of the lowest rates this month.
In early March, the price had touched ₹1,26,920 per sovereign. It has now dropped significantly. The price of 18-carat gold has also decreased. It is currently ₹11,050 per gram, and ₹88,400 for 8 grams.
Silver prices remain at ₹1,960 for 8 grams. Experts say international gold prices, the dollar-rupee exchange rate, and import duty are the main factors influencing gold prices in the state.
