Gold Prices Fluctuate in Kerala, Stay Above ₹95,500 per Sovereign

Kochi: Gold prices in Kerala continue to remain volatile, with values fluctuating between ₹95,000 and ₹96,000 per sovereign over the past few days. Today, prices saw a fresh increase of ₹200, bringing the rate to ₹95,640 per sovereign. The price per gram rose by ₹25, reaching ₹11,955.

The all-time high remains ₹97,360 per sovereign, recorded on October 17. While market observers say the current trend indicates the possibility of setting a new record, prices have been rising and falling sharply, creating an unpredictable pattern.

Experts attribute the fluctuations in the Indian market to movements in the global gold market. Additionally, more investors are turning to gold as a safe-haven asset, contributing to the recent upward price trend.
