Gold Prices Fall Again; Drop of ₹5,640 in Three Days

Kochi: After reaching record highs in recent days, gold prices fell again today, slipping below ₹92,000 per sovereign. A sovereign of gold is now priced at ₹91,720, down ₹600 from yesterday. Similarly, gram gold declined by ₹75, bringing the price to ₹11,465 per gram. Yesterday, gold had already dropped twice, by a total of ₹3,440.

On Tuesday morning, gold had touched a record high of ₹97,360 per sovereign, surpassing previous benchmarks. Since then, the price has been on a downward trend. Over the past three days, the price of gold has fallen by ₹5,640. Earlier this month, on October 3, gold recorded its lowest price of ₹86,560 per sovereign.

Experts attribute the recent fluctuations to uncertainties in the U.S. economic scenario, which influence international gold markets. These global movements are reflected in the Indian market, affecting both buying and selling prices. Analysts suggest that the current trend may continue depending on international developments and market sentiment.
