Kochi: After scaling a record high of ₹82,080 per sovereign earlier this week, gold prices in Kerala slipped again today. Rates fell by ₹400 per sovereign, bringing the price down to ₹81,520. Per gram, the price dipped by ₹50 to ₹10,190.
The decline follows yesterday’s ₹160 drop, coming just days after gold touched its all-time peak. At the start of the month, prices stood at ₹77,640 per sovereign—the month’s lowest—before climbing steadily on the back of rising international market trends.
