Mohanlal and Prithviraj’s much-awaited film Empuraan continues its strong run at the box office. On its second day, the movie saw a 44% drop in collections, earning ₹11.75 crore on Friday. The Malayalam version alone contributed ₹10.75 crore to this total.
Despite the decline, Empuraan has become the fastest Malayalam film to enter the ₹100 crore club, setting new benchmarks for the industry. The film is also performing exceptionally well overseas, breaking records in multiple international markets. With its strong momentum, Empuraan is expected to dominate the box office in the coming days.
