Dubai has officially introduced new guidelines for the Golden Visa program aimed at private school teachers, a significant move to acknowledge and reward the essential contributions of educators in the emirate. The Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) released these comprehensive directives, focusing on attracting and retaining high-quality teaching professionals.
Under the new regulations, Golden Visas will be available to principals, early childhood center managers, academic heads of higher education institutions, full-time faculty members, administrative staff, and teachers in private schools across Dubai. Applications for the Golden Visa will commence on the 15th of this month.
Educational institutions will have the opportunity to nominate teachers for this prestigious visa between mid-October and mid-December each year, using KHDA’s e-services for submission. It is crucial for each institution’s internal committee to verify that nominees meet the outlined qualifications.
Upon submission, applications will be processed within 45 working days. Eligibility criteria for the Golden Visa will consider academic achievements, innovative contributions to the field of education, efforts in improving institutional quality, student impact, and any awards received.
This initiative highlights Dubai’s dedication to enhancing its educational landscape and establishing the emirate as a leading global hub for teaching talent.
