Coldplay is set to return to India after nearly a decade with three exciting concerts at Mumbai’s DY Patil Stadium in January 2025. Originally scheduled for January 18 and 19, overwhelming fan demand led to the addition of a third show on January 21. The concerts are part of their globally celebrated Music of the Spheres World Tour, marking the band’s first full-length performance in India since their 2016 appearance at the Global Citizen Festival.
Tickets went live on September 22, 2024, through BookMyShow and sold out almost instantly, with prices ranging from ₹2,500 to ₹35,000. The massive demand has also led to skyrocketing hotel prices near the venue, with some luxury accommodations charging up to ₹5 lakh for a three-night stay.
Fans are eagerly anticipating Coldplay’s return, as this marks a major event for Indian music lovers who have long awaited a complete Coldplay concert experience.
