Christmas–New Year Bumper Lottery Draw at 2 PM Today

Thiruvananthapuram: The lucky winner of the New Year will be known today as the Kerala State Lottery conducts the Christmas–New Year Bumper Lottery draw on Saturday. The draw will take place at 2:00 PM at Gorky Bhavan, the official venue of the Kerala State Lottery Department in Thiruvananthapuram.

The Christmas–New Year Bumper lottery, which offers a first prize of ₹20 crore, has received an overwhelming response this year. Ticket sales have touched a record high compared to last year.

All 55 lakh tickets printed for this year’s bumper lottery have already been sold. In comparison, ticket sales for last year’s Christmas–New Year Bumper stood at 47,65,650, while this year 54,08,880 tickets have been sold so far.

Apart from the first prize of ₹20 crore, 20 winners will receive ₹1 crore each as the second prize. The third prize is ₹10 lakh each for 20 winners, the fourth prize is ₹3 lakh each for 20 winners, and the fifth prize is ₹2 lakh each for 20 winners.

Tickets are issued in 10 series. For the remaining nine series that do not win the bumper prize, there will be nine consolation prizes of ₹1 lakh each. In addition, several other prizes of ₹5,000, ₹2,000, ₹1,000, ₹500, and ₹400 will also be awarded.

In total, 6,21,990 prizes will be distributed through this year’s Christmas–New Year Bumper Lottery draw.
