BJP Releases First List of Candidates for Kerala Assembly Elections

Thiruvananthapuram: As election activity increases in Kerala, the Bharatiya Janata Party has announced its first list of candidates for the upcoming Kerala Assembly elections. The party has named 47 candidates in the initial list. Among the key candidates, Rajeev Chandrasekhar will contest from Nemom in Thiruvananthapuram. Former police officer R. Sreelekha has been selected to contest from Vattiyoorkavu. K. Surendran will contest from Manjeswaram. K. P. Prakash Babu has been fielded from Beypore, while P. K. Krishna Das will contest from Kattakkada.

Former Union Minister V. Muraleedharan will contest from Kazhakoottam. Padmaja Venugopal has been nominated from Thrissur, and filmmaker Major Ravi will contest from Ottapalam. The announcement of the first candidate list has intensified the election atmosphere in the state, with political parties preparing for a competitive contest in the upcoming Assembly elections.
