New Delhi: Passengers flying to and from Delhi may face delays as Air India, IndiGo, and other major airlines have issued advisories following a rain alert by the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The IMD has predicted light to moderate rainfall across Delhi-NCR throughout Tuesday, cautioning that the showers could disrupt air traffic and lead to congestion at Indira Gandhi International Airport.
Airlines have urged passengers to check flight status updates before leaving for the airport and plan extra travel time due to weather-related disruptions. With heavy cloud cover and intermittent rainfall already reported in parts of the city, authorities are on high alert to manage possible delays and diversions.
