New Delhi: In a major recognition of military excellence, senior officers from the Army, Navy, and Air Force who played pivotal roles in Operation Sindoor will be awarded the prestigious Sarvottam Yudh Seva Medal on August 15.
Operation Sindoor was a high-impact mission in which India targeted key terror hideouts and military installations inside Pakistan. The operation is credited with significantly crippling cross-border terror infrastructure and enhancing national security.
The gallantry awards will be conferred as part of the Independence Day honours, marking the nation’s gratitude to the armed forces for their strategic brilliance, coordination, and bravery.
