Key highlights include the hike in Minimum Support Prices (MSP) for major crops, tech-driven solutions like direct benefit transfers, crop insurance, and soil health cards, and a strong push for natural and organic farming to ensure long-term sustainability. Massive investments in irrigation infrastructure and enhanced access to credit for small and marginal farmers are also boosting agricultural resilience.
The Prime Minister reaffirmed that farmers are central to India’s development journey, and efforts to double their income through innovation, value-addition, and policy support are already yielding results.
