PM Modi Showcases Poshan Tracker as a Game-Changer in Women & Child Welfare

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has spotlighted the transformative power of technology in India’s welfare landscape by sharing a compelling article by Union Minister Annapurna Devi, highlighting the success of the Poshan Tracker and other tech-driven initiatives in empowering women and children. The article underscores how tools like real-time dashboards, geo-tagging, and Aadhaar-enabled Direct Benefit Transfers (DBT) are ensuring transparency, efficiency, and accountability in welfare delivery.

The Poshan Tracker now integrates over 14 lakh Anganwadi centres, directly benefiting more than 10.14 crore individuals, including pregnant women, lactating mothers, children under six, and adolescent girls. With the added support of a dedicated grievance redressal module, beneficiaries can now access timely help and entitlements with ease.

PM Modi’s endorsement reflects the government’s strong commitment to harnessing digital innovation to deliver dignified, transparent, and impactful governance—especially for the most vulnerable sections of society.
