India’s Under-19 women’s cricket team has etched their name in history by clinching the ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup 2025 with a dominant nine-wicket victory over South Africa in the final at Bayuemas Oval.
The Indian bowling attack put up a stellar show, restricting South Africa to just 82 runs. Chasing the modest target, Gongadi Trisha led the charge with an unbeaten 44, supported by Sanika Chalke’s 26, sealing the win with more than eight overs to spare.
