Assam Police seized 78,400 suspected Yaba tablets valued at ₹19.6 crore in Cachar district and arrested one person in connection with the case, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said on Friday.
The tablets, which contain a mixture of methamphetamine and caffeine, were recovered from a vehicle, according to the Chief Minister.
Sarma said changing the vehicle near the border did not help evade the police, praising Cachar Police for the seizure.
