Thane: Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat on Sunday called upon young researchers to question superstition and approach subjects such as physics, mathematics, astronomy and Ayurveda through scientific and logical reasoning.
He was speaking at the launch of ‘Project Vigyan Darshan’ during the Vedic Bharat Youth Thinkers Dialogue 2026, a national conference organised by the Vigyan Darshan Research Organisation (VDRO) in Thane district of Maharashtra.
Devvrat stressed the importance of combining scientific and technological progress with environmental protection, saying that sustainable development requires a balance between technological advancement and the preservation of nature.
He also highlighted the continuing relevance of Vedic science and encouraged young researchers to explore traditional knowledge while applying logical and scientific approaches to their studies.
The governor urged researchers to develop a questioning mindset and contribute to scientific progress while keeping environmental sustainability in focus.
