New Delhi: Around 200 passengers at Delhi airport were left stranded after an Etihad Airways flight to Abu Dhabi was cancelled late Saturday evening following a technical problem with the aircraft.
Etihad flight EY217, scheduled to depart from Delhi for Abu Dhabi at around 9.15 pm, was cancelled after passengers had boarded the aircraft.
According to passengers, they were asked to deboard after the crew informed them that the Boeing 787 aircraft had developed a technical issue.
The cancellation caused considerable inconvenience to passengers, who were left waiting at the airport for further information on alternative travel arrangements.
