New Delhi: The 18th BRICS Summit has endorsed stronger international cooperation in traditional, complementary and integrative medicine, with the New Delhi Declaration welcoming a proposal to establish a dedicated expert working group, the Ministry of Ayush said.
The proposed BRICS Expert Working Group on Traditional, Complementary and Integrative Medicine (TCIM) will operate under the BRICS Health Track. It is expected to facilitate dialogue, collaboration and knowledge-sharing among member countries.
The initiative aims to strengthen cooperation in traditional medicine and support efforts to improve healthcare systems and advance Universal Health Coverage, the ministry said.
