PM Modi Congratulates Indian Contingent on Commonwealth Games 2026 Performance

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday congratulated the Indian contingent for its impressive performance at the Commonwealth Games 2026 in Glasgow, where the country secured 39 medals, including 13 gold medals.

Praising the athletes for their outstanding achievements, the Prime Minister said the Indian contingent displayed exceptional skill, determination, and dedication throughout the Games. He noted that their hard work and commitment would continue to inspire the nation’s youth.

Congratulating all the medal winners, Mr. Modi extended his best wishes to the entire Indian contingent for their future competitions and expressed confidence that they would continue to bring greater glory to the country.

In a post on X, the Prime Minister said he was proud of India’s performance at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games and lauded the athletes for their remarkable efforts and achievements.
