THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister VD Satheeshan has convened an emergency meeting on Monday to review the rain situation across Kerala as heavy rainfall continues to affect several districts.
The online meeting, scheduled for 10 a.m., will be attended by district collectors, the Ministers for Home and Revenue, ministers in charge of various districts, and the Chief Secretary.The meeting will primarily assess the impact of the heavy rains, the functioning of relief camps, precautionary measures, and the coordination of rescue and relief operations.
The Chief Minister is also expected to issue further directions to strengthen the state’s preparedness and response to the ongoing rain-related emergencies.
